Take Care of the Gerbils
Feed the gerbils some seeds. Give the gerbils some water.
Give some cardboard
because they like to chew it.
Give them a house. Clean the gerbil tank.
Check the water bottle. Fill the water bottle.
Give them some love and care.
Keep the lid on tight because they can jump very high
and they might get out of the cage.

A Chinstrap has a strap under its chin. King is 2nd largest penguin in the world. A Gentoo has a white strap from eye to eye.

Celebrations of Learning!
We welcomed our families to school this morning to share our learning! Kids wrote a plan of things they wanted to share, and then read stories, showed their writing and gave their families a tour of our room and our school! We all had a great time! Thanks to the families who visited!

Spring Is Here!
Alex, Lucas, Drew and Hayden took photos of the bulbs coming up outside of our classroom door. They also began a growth log to keep track of how tall the shoots grow. They were all about 1 inch high on March 20th, the first day of spring.

Work on writing is fun. We write letters to each other. We feel good when we read them. We also write in our journals. We also write lists and other things like compliments and heart prints.
