Sea Stars

Sea stars have 5 arms called rays. We learned they eat scallops and clams by pulling them apart. Kids painted sea stars today which we'll use to practice counting by 5's. Kids also made "quilt squares" we'll use to make a pattern with their painted sea stars.

Parade

There was a parade when you could dress up. It was fun.

Revising Our Writing

Kids are learning to add to or change their writing to make it better. They can use colored pens to show their work. It's a fun way to work on their stories!

Planting Pumpkin Seeds in Pumpkins!

Both modular classrooms planted pumpkin seeds together outside today! A huge thank you to all of the parents who donated supplies and their time to help make this great project happen.
Parents cut the tops off of our little pumpkins and then kids scooped out the pulp and seeds, put soil inside and then put some seeds back in!  We hope to have pumpkin plants growing soon!
